Author Guidelines

Welcome to the author guidelines page for EDUVERSA : Journal of Universal Education Studies. Please read and carefully follow the guidelines below before submitting your manuscript.

1. General Provisions

  • Originality: Submitted manuscripts must be original works, never previously published, and not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  • Scope Alignment: Manuscripts must align with the focus and scope of the Eduversa journal, which centers on universal educational science, learning innovation, and educational technology.

  • Language: Manuscripts should be written in good, clear, and academic Indonesian or English.

  • Length: Manuscripts should be between 6 to 15 pages (including references, tables, and figures) formatted according to the official journal template.

2. Manuscript Structure Research articles should follow the standard structure along with a conclusion:

  • Title: Concise, clear, informative, and reflects the core research (maximum 15 words).

  • Author Identity & Affiliation: Full names of authors (without academic titles), institutional affiliations, and the corresponding author's email.

  • Abstract: Written in both Indonesian and English. Maximum 200 words, containing a brief background, methods, results, and conclusions, accompanied by 3–5 keywords.

  • Introduction: Background of the problem, literature review, state-of-the-art to show novelty, and research objectives.

  • Research Methods: Detailed description of the research stages, models, or data analysis techniques so that other researchers can replicate the study.

  • Results and Discussion: Objective presentation of findings supported by tables, figures, or graphs, along with an analytical explanation of the results.

  • Conclusion: Summarizes the main findings, answers the research objectives, and provides suggestions for future research.

  • References: Minimum of 10 references. Authors must use reference management tools (such as Mendeley or Zotero) formatted in IEEE Style or standard academic referencing, with references prioritized from scientific journals published within the last 5 years.

3. Table and Figure Formatting

  • Figures: Must be clear, high resolution, and centered.

  • Tables: Uses only horizontal lines (without vertical lines).

  • Captions: Table titles above the table. Figure titles below the figure.

  • Citations: All figures and tables must be cited within the text.

4. Online Submission Guidelines

  1. Authors must register an account on the Eduversa journal website.

  2. Download the official manuscript template from the journal website.

  3. Write your manuscript directly inside the provided template.

  4. Log in, click Make a New Submission, and follow the step-by-step upload process.

  5. Ensure all metadata (full names, affiliations, emails, and abstracts) are accurately filled out in the OJS system.
